The scantron-style taco menu includes multiple taco shells, proteins, and toppings to choose from, giving you the ability to create countless taco combinations designed to your liking. Barrio uses fresh, local ingredients, and each taco is built to order. Numerous vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
Thristy? You’re in good hands at Barrio! Choose from multiple margarita styles and flavors, delectable bourbon concoctions, or one of many craft beers. There’s even a new specialty cocktail available each month.
Barrio’s brunch menu gives you the perfect selection of sweet and savory flavors. From seasonal, french toast bowls to the Machaca con Huevos taco (shown below), your whole party will be delighted. Of course, you’re always welcome to build your own tacos, or choose from one of the chef’s suggestions.
HISTORY + FAMILY ROOTS
In 2012, the first Barrio restaurant was created in the historic Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio by Tommy Leneghan and Sean Fairbairn. It quickly became a favorite among the community, and today there are five Barrio locations serving the Cleveland area. Barrio has been praised nationally, and has earned titles including “Top 10 Taco Stands in the US,” and “Best Mexican Restaurant in the State of Ohio.”
Sean and Tommy are partnering with Maggie and Dan Osborn, long-time residents of Portsmouth, to open Barrio Portsmouth. Maggie is also Tommy’s sister, and she wants to share her family’s business with her neighborhood. Barrio Portsmouth will feature fresh, local ingredients that will be used to create endless taco combinations designed by you.
